In this brand-new video, guitarist Phil Gates demos and explains the Bugera V22 INFINIUM Combo Amp.

The hand-selected 12AX7 preamp tubes in Vintage V22 Infinium' classic ˜60s-era preamp provide everything from sweetly purring blues to mind-blowing crunch.

Often employed in British-style amplifiers, the EL84 output tube is known for its crisp and chiming tonal quality when pushed to the max, and the V22 harnesses every ounce of that power to awesome effect.

The drive channel has a volume, master volume and gain. After half it sounds better for hard rock and early heavy metal. At three though it does its job and adds color to your tone. I've played amps twice the price that don't sound as good as this.

If you want to play thrash or death metal get a good drive pedal. The V in its name stands for vintage and it lives up to that. The best part is that while it has a vintage vibe it still sounds like its own amp. It is reliable and I hear no tube rattle when cranked.

Selected Specs: • Hand-built 22-watt guitar combo driven by two EL84 tubes • Revolutionary INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier technology, which extends the life of your amplifier’s expensive power tubes up to 20 times and provides incredible reliability and consistent tone over the complete lifespan of your tubes—and more!
